CJW is proud to have provided the City of Joplin with street and sidewalk improvements for areas that were damaged by the EF-5 tornado in 2011. As work on the project is coming to a close, we would like to thank the community for their patience during the construction process. The project area covered 22nd Street to 26th Street and Maiden Lane through Connor Ave. Improvements included reconstruction of sidewalks, curb and gutter, and driveways, and storm system modifications. Major items included approximately 2 miles of curb and gutter, over 100 driveways, 3.5 miles of sidewalk, 43,000 square yards of paving, 3.5 acres of seeding and sodding, and 155 trees to be planted in November.
